Atlanta Opened its Arm to the Haitian Sports Foundation

On September 28th, 2019, for the first time, the Haitian Sports Foundation (HSF) landed in Atlanta, GA to launch its Annual Fundraiser making its debut in the South of USA. With the goal to raise funds to expand HSF’s Health Clinic in Anse-a-Veau, Haiti, this event was successfully done and every guest welcomed two of the three founders Turnier Esperance & Georges Aschkar Jr. The “HSF Atlanta Masquerade Ball Event” featured an outstanding Karate, dance and musical Live stream presentation performed by the children of HSF in Anse-à-Veau. The audience was greatly impressed and fell in love with the children, staff and Board members. Defying the odds of a rainstorm that caused technical difficulties and power outage, HSF gained an outpour of Atlanta supporters offering to volunteer to work with the children in Haiti. As a volunteer Team Leader of Youth Programs and Events Coordinator of HSF, I have never felt so proud of how far this foundation has come to realize its mission. There are many gems of talents and leadership in this organization that will only take its vision to the next level of impact in Anse-à-Veau. Atlanta is now the new hub for HSF and I look forward to the next record-breaking activities whether here in Atlanta or in Haiti to come next year!!
