Thanks to your generosity, we continue to provide direct assistance to the children of Haiti.
Below is a summary of our recent July 2014 activity:
The HSF Assistant Treasury, Reverend Love Smith and his son Mr. Galinsky Smith travelled to Haiti to organize the HSF annual Soccer tournament. This year the Soccer tournament grew bigger, thanks to the leadership and the collaboration of Ms. Yolaine Gateau, Executive Member of “Le Petit Village” a social program located in Leogane.
Ms. Gateau hosted all the HSF athletes who made the 80 kms trip from Anse-à-Veau to Leogane. The HSF athletes competed against those from Leogane. An estimated of 205 athletes participated in the tournament, including 18 young girls for the first time.
At the end of the tournament, several athletes received prizes for best goal keeper, best striker best defender and best player.
Your generosity allowed the athletes with their transportation, their lunch and their uniform. Reverend Love plans to return to Leogane in December to conduct an HSF sponsored seminar for soccer coaches and referees.
