Three Athletes Sent to Panama Karate Tournament

August 15, 2012 – The Haitian Sports Foundation (HSF) sent three athletes to participate in an international Karate tournament in Panama.

Elizabeth Presmy, a young girl from Anse-a-Veau, came in second in her Kata division, just after Venezuela. This is a first for the town of Anse-a-Veau.

HSF is teaching close to 120 young boys and girls the arts of Karate. The pool of talents is huge. Currently we have kids walking between 5-10 miles to come for practice. With this success, we know the registration will increase.

We need all the help we can get from anyone or any organization who will be willing to provide assistance for transportation for those kids. .
