HSF Students Learn the Art of Farming Fish and Plantains

At HSF, learning goes beyond books — it gets real, hands-on, and sometimes even a little muddy!

Our students are stepping outside the classroom and into the field to learn the practices of farming fish and plantains. With sleeves rolled up, they’re gaining firsthand experience in a way of life that has sustained communities for generations.

This hands-on learning is more than just an agricultural lesson. It’s a chance to connect with the rhythms of nature, understand where our food comes from, and develop a deep respect for the work and wisdom behind it.

From feeding and caring for the fish to planting and tending the soil, our students are discovering the patience, discipline, and teamwork that farming requires. And in the process, they’re growing something far more valuable than crops — they’re growing character.

At HSF, we’re proud to nurture minds, hearts, and hands. Here’s to learning that lasts a lifetime — and harvests that nourish both body and soul. 🌿🐟
