May 2, 2025 — On this pivotal day, the Executive Members of the Haitian Sports Foundation (HSF) gathered to shape the organization’s future and better reflect the full scope of its mission. After thoughtful discussion, a unanimous decision was reached: the Foundation will now operate under the name Haitian Sports Foundation & Education.

This name change reflects the growing role of education in HSF’s programs and its deep commitment to empowering Haitian youth not just through sports and health—but also through learning. The foundation’s core services in sports and health will remain unchanged, ensuring continuity in the programs that communities have come to rely on.

While the name has been expanded to acknowledge this important evolution, the Foundation’s logo will remain the same, preserving the brand identity that supporters know and trust.

The HSF Board made this change in response to overwhelming requests from the community, partners, and beneficiaries who see education as a vital tool for long-term development and transformation. From literacy classes to academic tutoring and life skills training, HSF’s educational efforts are already making a significant impact—and now, the name will reflect that reality.

All future communications, both public and private, will now use the full name: Haitian Sports Foundation & Education.
