In November 2024, HSF organized an entrepreneurship workshop for students in Anse-à-Veau, Haiti. This initiative aimed to equip young individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue entrepreneurial ventures, fostering economic growth and self-sufficiency within the community.
HSF has a history of empowering youth through various programs. For instance, in October 2024, their Moto Mechanics students successfully dismantled and rebuilt a motorcycle as part of their midterm project, with all participants aspiring to become entrepreneurs.
Additionally, in July 2024, HSF received an exemplary award citation from the Nassau County Legislature, District 3 of New York, for its outstanding commitment and dedication to Haitian youth in Anse-à-Veau.
These efforts reflect HSF’s dedication to providing educational and entrepreneurial opportunities to the youth of Anse-à-Veau, contributing to the community’s sustainable development.
