At the Haitian Sports Foundation (HSF), every game is about more than winning. It is about creating opportunities, building character, and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

In June 2026, HSF proudly hosted its Youth Basketball Interschool Competition, bringing together talented student-athletes from local schools for a tournament that celebrated teamwork, sportsmanship, and determination.

The competition showcased the incredible talent and dedication of Haiti’s young athletes. Throughout the tournament, players demonstrated discipline, resilience, and a passion for the game, while families, coaches, and community members gathered to cheer them on.

After a series of exciting matchups, Lycée Boiron Tonnerre emerged as the tournament champion, earning the championship trophy and well-deserved recognition for their outstanding performance. During the awards ceremony, players received medals and celebrated the hard work that brought them to victory.

But the true success of the tournament extends far beyond the final score.

Through initiatives like this, the Haitian Sports Foundation continues to provide young people with a safe and encouraging environment where they can develop confidence, leadership, teamwork, and perseverance.
